HRT is a totally volunteer civic organization dedicated to serving and empowering Cleveland's Hispanic community. As we say on our website, the organization’s purpose is “to develop a vibrant, independent, and self-reliant Hispanic community, one which is making a significant contribution not only to the advancement of the Hispanic community but also to the betterment of the entire community. “
On October 10, 2024, the Hispanic Roundtable (HRT) conducted its candidates and issues night at La Sagrada Familia Church (7719 Detroit Ave.) as a part of the Roundtable’s 40th anniversary celebration. Several hundred participants, including candidates, office holders, issue representatives, and community members participated in the evening filled with music, dessert, and plenty of political dialogues.
